The Genghis Khan Brain pepper has been grown and developed by the AIASP in Italy. Though the Genghis Khan Brain has been around for a few years, not many are familiar with this rare variety. However, for those who are aware, the heat on this pepper is incredibly hot with an everlasting burn.
When it ripens, you'll notice delicious fruity tones and a heat that rivals any other super hot pepper. The heat and scent are close to other red Brain Strain pepper varieties, but the heat cuts through your tongue. Estimated to be over 1,500,000 SHUs, the incredible heat of the Genghis Khan isn't necessarily a throat-grabber, but the oily menace doesn't play games and sticks around long after you take a bite.
